The Last Episode of IndieView Radio with Stephan Pearce!

So, guys, sorry for the lack of updates on here. Various things came up that didn’t allow me to record the shows like I wanted to. I’ve got one more I’m gonna post soon, but consider that show a b-side….a hungover b-side….ANYWAYS, I tried making the best show I could on the fly for you guys with it being my last show, especially in the second hour. THIS IS THE LAST ONE!! At least for the summer, so LISTENLISTENLISTEN!!

You just might like something. Other than my sexy voice, of course.

Side note, I made the stupid mistake of saving in 64 bitrate, so just work with me, it’s not that bad.

IndieView Radio – 03/01/11

New show up! This is the first “real” show that I’ve posted, no themes here. This is the show to check out over the other one (unless you are a diehard Radiohead fan…like myself). Forgive me stumbling over my words at first, I just woke up at the time!

listen, listen, listen & give me feedback.

muppets + LCD Soundsystem =

This is my favorite song off of LCD Soundsystem’s most recent…and LAST album. Just so happens that somebody put together an awesome “live” muppets performance on a rooftop off of a busy street for the song. Watch.

the most awesome thing you’ll see this week.

first IndieView podcast – the radiohead edition

Alright guys, long time since I’ve updated this site.  But, thanks to my involvement with UCA’s local radio station, KUCA 91.3 FM The Bear, this site is BACK!  The plan is to have a new edition of the radio show I do, IndieView Tuesdays, up in its full length EVERY WEEK!  And with each new post & new show, not only will you be able to listen to the full show from your computer (or iPhone, WHOA!), I’ll have downloads available for the best songs from each show in the same post as the show!

So, anyhow, gonna have to run with the show this week, kind of a weird start for a podcast, but this week’s show is dedicated to Radiohead & their new album, King of Limbs.  In this show, I’m gonna play some of my favorite Radiohead deeper cuts (the podcast starts about 40 minutes into the show, so forgive me this week) AND the entire new album!

Also, I realize the equalization issues, I’m not used to hearing myself.  Give me a break! (till next week)

So, I’ll shut up.  Just listen.

Also, there’s a static in the show this week, that WILL BE FIXED BY NEXT WEEK.

Next week will be back to the normal show format with the latest & greatest indie goodness!!

8/1 Song of the Day

Today, I’m going to throw to you a rare, live song from Sigur Ros that you just might have never heard of.

It’s awesome.

New demo from Backspacer trickles out into the wild (oh ha ha ha)

Well, I have to follow up on it after posting the crappy bootleg version last week.  A few days ago, a demo of Speed of Sound found its way on the internet.  Which, while this song is on the album, this is the acoustic version with just Eddie playing.  Studio recording.  Can’t wait to hear the full band version of this.

A whisper in the dark..
Is that you or just my thoughts?
I’m wide awake and reaching out..

7/31 Song of the Day

In light of the new single from Our Lady Peace and its crappiness, I would like to take us back in time to a time when OLP was awesome.  1995.

7/30 Song of the Day

Yep, I’m starting this up.  We’ll see how much I can keep up with it.  Todayyyyyy’s, to start the party, is a lesser known track by Radiohead from the second disk of In Rainbows, which one could argue is a disc of b-sides (a few damn good ones, too)….“Down is the New Up”.  If you’ve seen me wear my confusing t-shirt in the past before (I’ve seriously never had more people notice a shirt ever than that one), this is the song that inspired it.
